     II International Conference takes place in Vienna (Austria) on November 30th - December 1st, 2016. Representatives of Russian federal and regional authorities, industry and business leaders and top representatives from academic sector are gathering to discuss the interim results of 2016 and long-term Russian pulp and paper industry development prospects.

     The decision to hold the Conference this year was taken upon the results of the first event held on December 8th-9th, 2015 in Vienna (Austria) by the initiative of the Russian Timber Manufacturers and Exporters Union, the Russian Chamber of Commerce and the conference Operator – Association of Specialists of The Pulp and Paper Industry (ASPPI). Two days long agenda of the conference was highly appreciated by the Deputy Minister of Nature and Environment of the Russian Federation, Head of the Federal Forestry Agency - Ivan Valentik, President of the Chamber of Commerce of the Russian Federation Sergey Katyrin, heads of leading companies in the forest industry, financial and banking structures of Russia, Austria, Germany, Finland, USA, Sweden, Switzerland, Belgium and other countries.

     The Conference in Vienna has proved to be an effective platform for communication of public authorities, businesses, forestry and pulp and paper industries executives, manufacturers and consumers of pulp and paper products.
