Dr. Veronica Schey is the COO of StepChange Consulting. She has been a global management consultant since 2001, with extensive experience leading corporations in improving their financial performance and operational efficiency worldwide. She specializes in mergers and acquisitions, focusing on optimizing commercial, operational, and organizational aspects. Dr. Schey has deep expertise in developing lean and efficient organizations and driving digitalization in the pulp and paper industry.

Renowned for her analytical expertise and strategic insight, she has been a trusted advisor to leadership teams navigating complex transformations in the pulp, paper, packaging, and FMCG industries. She currently holds responsibility for operations in Latin America, Middle East and Asia.

Dr. Schey earned a PhD in Economics, an MBA from the American University of Cairo (AUC), and an Engineering MSc degree from the Technical University of Vienna (TU).
