Founder, MSIL

An Inherently visionary, Mr. Chirag Jain is a fourth-generation entrepreneur, who took his family business in the international market and became a leader in creating a global presence for the company. 

He strongly believes that there are no shortcuts to hard work and diligence is always rewarded with success.

Although being a part of the family business. he opened up a whole new market for the business and created relationships with foreign suppliers and customers to expand the business while still doing his undergrad. He established the first international office of MSIL in Hong Kong, and for the first few years single-handedly oversaw the entire company. From documentation, banking, and packaging to building relationships with customers and suppliers, he did it all. 

His belief centres on the idea that the best way to contribute to society is by supporting education. and so he is always open to causes and charities contributing toward education and learning. 

In his free time, he enjoys good music, driving, and traveling. He particularly enjoys staying informed about current events that additionally align with his visionary mindset.

Work experience:

2008

  • Founders MSIL, a trading organization with its own value-addition units (converting plants) and trading offices through its subsidiaries across Asia, Africa and the Middle East
  • Started cross-country trading
  • Acquired first customers from Poland, Saudi Arabia, Turkey and UAE
  • Started building relationships with international suppliers

2012

  • Introduced the company for the first time in an international exhibition Drupa 2012
  • Started building the MSIL Team.

Jan 2014

  • Started stock & trade of Paper and stationary conversion plant in Ethiopia.

Apr 2016

·       Expanded MSIL's global presence in cross-country trade.

2018

·       started a corrugated box production plant in Ethiopia.

·       Started the warehouse, stock & sales in Nigeria.

Nov 2020

  • Joined MLJ Industries as Procurement & Operations Specialist
  • Installed silicon coating and self-adhesive lines under the flagship

Oct 2022

  • Joined MLM India Limited
  • Opened the Prime Paper Division under his leadership whereas before the company majorly dealt in stock lots.
  • Established relationship with international paper mills for prime paper
  • Currently leading and developing the Pulp division under the flagship of MLM India
  • Also serving as Strategic advisory for MLJ Industries 

Volunteer Work:

  • Participated in JITO AHIMSA Run which was awarded with The Guinness World Records for receiving the highest number of pledges for a peace campaign in one week.
  • Manages philanthropic initiatives by organizing camps for individuals with visual impairments and physical disabilities in villages and Tier-2 cities
  • Offered 2,500 meals daily for 30 consecutive days in response to the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic.
  • Actively doing Life release in Hong Kong, which is a Buddhist practice of releasing captive animals that are destined for slaughter or giving them back their freedom. The animals are often released into the wild or into man-made pools.
