Mr. Mete was born on 11 April 1980 in Erzincan city of Turkey (Eastern Turkey). He grew up in Erzincan where finished Science High School in Erzurum. Mr. Mete went to Istanbul for university and studied in Bogazici University International Relations Faculty in Istanbul. Graduated in 2002. Mr. Mete also graduated from Executive MBA again in Bogazici University in 2008.

Mr. Mete started to work in 2001 as a Purchasing Specialist. After 3 years of Purchasing career, he continued in Sales and started to work in Coca-Cola Turkey as Sales Supervisor. Worked 7 years in Coca-Cola Turkey in several sales manager positions including 1 year Marketing Brand Management experience. In 2012 Mr. Mete moved to Kazakhstan for Coca-Cola. Worked 4 years there as Sales Manager. He continued in Turkmenistan as Sales Director for 2 years. In 2019 Mr. Mete changed his sector and transferred to Kopas Cosmetics as Turkey Sales Director. After 1 year, he has been transferred to Hayat Kimya as Hayat Russia CEO. Since March 2020 he has been working in the capacity of CEO in Moscow.
